Closing: Adaptations after Finalization
All done — and then it happens: new postings come in and you have to revisit the closing. No problem.
If there are changes that affect the closing, please reset the closing using the designated button. In that case, all closing entries created via Arcarius are automatically removed from Bexio. This is free of charge.
After that, you have two options:
- Update the affected modules yourself (free)
- Have Arcarius pull the latest general ledger from Bexio, then either: regenerate the entire closing (if all modules are affected), or rerun only the relevant modules (credits are charged proportionally, since Arcarius processes them again). If needed, you can also upload updated open-item lists (OPOS). Please note: this triggers reprocessing of the entire closing.
We recommend rerunning only the affected modules whenever possible — it’s faster, cheaper, and won’t overwrite your manual adjustments in other modules. That said, we understand that sometimes you need a clean restart. That’s why we offer a full rebuild at a significant discount compared to the initial run — so you don’t have to redo everything manually. Please make sure you have 120 credits available (or 200 credits for larger companies). Check Use Cases & Pricing for details.
