Knowledge Database: Upload, Usage, Visibility

What does “Knowledge Database” mean?

One common issue with many chatbots is that they sometimes rely on outdated or unreliable sources. That’s why Arcarius uses an internal knowledge database as its single source of truth and only uses web search as a complementary tool when it’s truly necessary.

This knowledge database contains over 500 Switzerland-relevant legal texts, circulars, and similar resources, which we update regularly. Arcarius always checks these sources first when answering questions and will let you know if web search is required. Either way, you’ll receive source references so you can verify critical information.

In addition, this knowledge database allows you to personalize Arcarius’ knowledge — at no extra cost. If you work with very specific legal areas, it can be helpful to upload the relevant documents. Only the Billing Admin can upload documents, and they are available within seconds.

Who can view these documents?

Arcarius uses these documents across your entire organization (meaning: for all your companies and users), so documents only need to be uploaded once. All members of your organization can view them.

Your documents are never shared outside your organization.

Hint: If you want to run research that doesn’t require analyzing your bookkeeping data, use Knowledge Mode. This signals Arcarius to search the documents directly, which saves time and keeps costs very low.
